Game crashes

Mu HoI is v 4.02 from Steam.

The game crashes at either "creating the world" or "creating textures for Quad 33". I reinstalled the game two times and it hasn't solved the problem.

Previous version of the mod worked - was sluggish (base game runs very smoothly) but it worked.

specs:
- Q9400 2.66 GHz
- 4gb ram
- HD 4890 1 gb.

My game crashes when loading comes to ukrain flags loading ... creating map

What to do i have 4.02 version (not steam)
I tried lots of stuff but nothing ...
I instal mod in E\program files\hearts of iron 3 ...
Do i need somthing download from steam paradox interactive or somthing

I played Black ice mod but then they coop with paradox and fu*k things ...
Help please

Now at adapting history crashed

I made it !!! First delete game from control panel. Then instal again . And then instal mod ... and when you get to main menu select single player. Start with any country and in adapting history you get crashed. Then go to my documents hoi3 and find mwm i thing. There in that folder go to setings and find somthing with rendering trees and from yes put no save it and start game again and it worked for me

Indeed, if your settings.txt file was not overwritten for some reason this could be a cause for a crash. Please open the settings.txt file located at C:\Users\XXX\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron III\MWM and fine a line called:

renderTrees=yes

Change it to:

renderTrees=no

I play iraq in afgan war and in 18.May. 2002 crashes every time
